Our purpose is to get lives together and to provide the opportunity for those with more in life and of life, to share with those with less.

Special Events

Over its first years, the Foundation was engaged in a number of activities intended to create awareness of the Foundation and to raise funds. Among these are:

  • "The Dolphin", "The Forest", "The Eagle" print advertising - a campaign developed early on by Jimenez/DMB&B (now Publicis JimenezBasic). This was meant to create awareness of the Foundation and raise even token donations of P20 from each benefactor. The leukemic children themselves posed to form the dolphin, the forest, and the eagle used for the ads. 
  • "An Evening for L.I.F.E" - as a concert organized by the late Filipino composer and L.I.F.E. Trustee George Canseco and his friends, for the benefit of L.I.F.E.
  • A premier showing of the movie "A Time to Kill".
  • Showing of the musical play "Sleeping Beauty" by Repertory Philippines .
  • "Art and Heart" - an exhibit of Chinese paintings organized for the benefit of L.I.F.E.
  • "Padyakan Para sa mga Batang May Leukemia" - a bike run participated in by 300 cyclists touring several cities in Metro Manila, namely, Quezon City, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Makati and Manila. Life Cycles Foundation, Inc. sponsored this event.
  • "Bikers for L.I.F.E." - a bloodletting campaign sponsored by the Federation of Motorcycles. L.I.F.E. children were given the thrill of riding big motorcycles around Makati.
